2-Hour Introduction to Tarot

Learn to read tarot cards with ease, using a variety of spreads.

About this experience

Are you curious about Tarot?  Have you bought a deck that sits dusty on your shelf because it seems daunting and you’re uncertain where to start?  “2-Hour Introduction to Tarot” is a beginner-friendly workshop that will have you reading cards in no time!
Tarot is not simple fortune telling.  It is a tool for intuitively exploring questions for the purpose of self-discovery.  Tarot empowers you to move forward in your life with the wisdom and knowledge needed to make informed decisions that will help you improve your life and achieve your goals/desires.

Using the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot (RWS), you will learn how to:

  • Read the cards using a “Cheat Sheet”.
  • Use a variety of 3-card spreads.
  • Attune, cleanse, and care for your cards.
  • Incorporate crystals and other enhancements.

  • “Introduction to Tarot” Handbook
  • “Tarot Cheat Sheets”
  • A deck of RWS Tarot cards to borrow during the workshop (Decks are available for purchase in the store, if you wish.)

Course Style:  A balance of lecture, discussion, and hands-on activities.

Note: “2-Hour Introduction to Tarot” is the first in a series of 3 workshops. Should you wish to study Tarot further, “Tarot Part 1” and “Tarot Part 2” courses will be available in the fall.  Part 1 and Part 2 are each 4 weeks of 2-hour sessions.
